67/365 - 12/01/09 - It's December!
365 Days at 50mm
I am a freelance photojournalist based in the Washington, DC Metro area. I’ve traveled and shot in locations such as India, the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Ireland, France, and, of course, Washington, DC.
I started the 365@50 Project in order to build appreciation for the 50mm prime lens. I've been spoiled by bigger and badder lenses and I wanted to take a step back, simplify my photography, and get back to basics.

I spent most of the day driving home from the holiday weekend with our
families, hence the photo.

Sixteen years ago, I met my girlfriend at Conneaut Lake Park. This
year, the park decided to try and raise money to reopen the park by
selling boards on the park boardwalk. My girlfriend bought one for us
as part of my birthday present in June. Sunday, I finally got a
chance to see it.
